"As Titus’s daughter, Lavinia— usually a subordinate victim role — Mindy Leanse does wonders. Lavinia may lose her hands and tongue, but Ms. Leanse turns her puppet, an innocent red countenance surrounded by curly blond locks, into a marvel of movement and guttural utterances who sticks up for herself."

"Leanse does an impressive comedic work with puppet Lavinia's mostly non-speaking and originally tragic role."

Mindy Leanse was an incredible actor to work with on my project. She was timely, professional, and thorough throughout the process. In terms of her performance, she took a brief character description and made it her own. She was able to impressively adapt her voice to fit the given circumstances of the project, and elevated a student piece to a professional quality. Although we were under certain strains in terms of collaboration due to the pandemic, she still managed to adapt to these special remote circumstances, and was a wonderful collaborator who was great to work with and eager to help.
